Exchange formats
Suppliers and clients today receive their data and information almost exclusively digitally. Therefore it is logical to have the option to exchang all these these data to prevent errors and to speed up your work.  Tensor is perfectly capable to communicate with most of the design-systems. Supported formats are AutoCAD®DXF en IGES.

Windows clipboard
As Tensor CAD is a 100% Windows-application you can perfectly use the Windows-clipboard. Copying your geometry to the clipboard will give you the option to paste this into any Windows-application. Using a wordprocessor with Tensor is a perfect tool for technical documentation. By using a database-program you may define a library of your parts.

Convert DWG to DXF
 On the website AnyDwg Software Inc..  a Dxf-Dwg-converter can be downloaded to so will be allowed to read Dwg-files into Tensor.  The demo version is limited for  3 files per session. If you want to import more files you may purchase the converter for a fair and reasonable price.
